Trip to Sri Lanka

WELCOME TO SRILANKA

I am so happy that you’re here and would love this opportunity to share my beautiful experiences. There are so many travel blogs/ vlogs but every personal experience is beautiful in its own way and has its own charm. So here I am trying to share my Sri Lankan experience in few words, let’s begin with our day 1 in Sri Lanka

Firstly we landed at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo. We had booked this amazing van 🚐 and it was very luxurious as we had 2 weeks of road trip ahead of us to cover the Southern, eastern, western and central parts of this beautiful island 🏝 It had reclining seats which become like a flat bed. Basically its a business class Van 🤣

🐘 So we headed to our hotel Marino beach and checked in. We were tired from a long journey of Jaipur to Colombo via Delhi but still we got fresh and headed for lunch to Wadiya beach restaurant and for little local sightseeing. If you are looking for amazing seafood 🦞 then you must visit Ministry of crab 🦀
🌸 After that we visited Buddhist temple - Gangaramaya Temple which is beautiful and calm and has modern architecture along with traditional/cultural.
🧘‍♀️ Next stop was Seema Malakaya Temple which is located just across the road from Gangaramaya temple in Beira lake and its so serene & meditative 🕌 Then we headed to Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque (Red Mosque) located in Pettah. Due to covid restrictions going inside wasn’t allowed so we just had a look from outside of this beautiful architecture. ✨ Also recommend shopping in Pettah streets and floating market. Colombo is so beautiful, clean and lively. Our next destination Sigiriya located in central province, we stayed at gorgeous property called Amaya Lake which is so beautiful , you can have a little picnic by the lake side, also enjoy an Ayurvedic spa and 🐘 an evening Safari at Minneria national park 🪨 On Day 3 we got up early in the morning for our trek to Sigiriya
Sigiriya Rock
(‘Sinhagiri’ Singha, means Lion and giri means throat in Singhalese)
Its a nice trek which one must cover during their trip to Sri Lanka.
